Sonic Isms: or, how a satirical kids’ cartoon manages to fumble nearly every sensitive ball. There is a picture of Sonic tighed to a tree, looking unimpressed, with his friends in the background.

Slide 2: What is Sonic Boom? A 3D animated cartoon spinoff of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. Officially an alternate universe, Rise of Lyric is widely considered to be an attempt to reboot the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, an effort that failed before it could start because of how terrible the game was. The TV show spinoff, while more popular, does suffer from some of the big problems of its source game and the attempted reboot: namely, character changes and utter lack of traditional Sonic the Hedgehog lore. The cover of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is shown.
